Three Super Quick Ideas For Making Scripture A Bigger Part of Your Day (Guest Post by Josiah Pierpont)

Hi! Today I wanted to share a blog post written by my brother Josiah, he has a photo blog that you can find here, if you’re interested.

I hope you enjoy reading, have a great week!

My name is Josiah Pierpont, I enjoy spending time with my family, biking, long hikes through the woods, and photography. I hope you’ll enjoy reading this post. Please comment and share your ideas and inspiration.

Here are my three ideas that I think you’ll find helpful:

1. Post it as a Background For Your Phone
One way you can insert verses of scripture into your day is by posting a verse image as your background on your phone. One tool that’s works very well and is the easiest to use is the you version Bible app, this is one my brother suggests and is one that I have found helpful the few times I’ve used it.

2. Write Verses on Note Cards

My second idea for you today is to write verses onto note cards and keep them in your pocket as you go about your day. When you think of it, pull out the verses and read them to yourself a few times.

3. Memorize and Recite Scripture to Yourself

Here’s my final idea: Memorize verses that are encouraging and convicting to you, as you go throughout your day God will bring back those verses to your memory and you can recite them in the time of need.

Thanks for reading, please comment and share your thoughts. Also, remember that this is my first written blog post, so feel free to tell me how I did.
